Cocotay Design was founded by identical twins Coco and Tay Blaisdell in 2002. The first collection was born of the twins' difficulty finding truly individual accessories. Like the twins, each Cocotay design encompasses a combination of the chic, the unexpected, and the smashing - effortlessly linking the everyday with the luxurious. 

COCO'S INSPIRATION ~ 

Ever since I was young, I have maintained a love for all things glitzy and sparkly. My innate curiosity and vivacious personality are what sparked my interest in starting a company that cherishes design, singularity, and technique. Cocotay Design enables Coco enthusiasts to accessorize with signature pieces and one-of-a-kind embellishments. With vintage being my most momentous source of inspiration, I have come to think of myself as an elorer navigating my way through unforseen places, searching for the perfect treasure. From the nooks and crannies of Parisian nostalgia shops, to the shimmering storefronts of Madison Avenue, and clandestine antique markets all over he globe, I keep my eyes pointedly peeled for gems that are sparsely found by the 'average joe.'

Treasured trinkets that tickle my fancy include, but are never limited to, sparkling pavé earrings, gilded chains, embellished skirts, grandma's golden bangles, fabulous weathered-wood frames, and my personal favorite - Japanese nautical oil paintings.
